My Wild Spirit lives on the vast Canadian Prairies too......
visiting here and finding inspiration all around....thinking of my prairie ancestors....homesteading on this land over 100 years ago....and thinking a lot about the mighty Sacred Buffalo....who once numbered in the millions....30 million.....there is a record of an early western explorer from 1798 who recorded that the prairie here in this area was black with buffalo for as far as the eye could see.....he watched a herd of Buffalo crossing the Red Deer River for 10 days....
imagine the power of that visual....really.....just try to imagine that......
